    Update...

It's official, Katie is allergic to sulfa drugs (Just like mom and dad).  When we took her to the doctor a couple weeks back for her suspected MRSA spot, they put her on a sulfa-based antibiotic.  The doctors said that drug allergies aren't hereditary, so we'd give it a try.  A few days later she got these little spots/rash on her that looked like little bites.  We stopped giving her the medicine to be safe, and we asked the doctor during Josh's appointment last week, and they said it looked like a sulfa allergy.  The spots looked like they've been clearing up this week, so looked like it was.

However, when Katie woke up yesterday, the spots were back, and were raised with white around them, the same way an allergic reaction to a cat's scratch or a bee sting looks.  Her doctor has a Saturday morning urgent care, so we took her there, and sure enough, it's definately an allergic reaction.  At least we know now.  Should be easy since we're all apparently allergic to the same thing. :)

In other news, Friday night when I got home we attempted to all pile in the Nissan and head to the store.  When we tried to start the car, it just turned and turned and turned over, but wouldn't start.  Called AAA yesterday morning and they towed it to the mechanic down the street in Bridgemill, whom, apparently was able to start it immediately with no issues.  (I'd tried again 3 times when the towing guy came).  Not quite sure what's up with it yet, but they're keeping it until Monday to try to test it more.

    Oh fun times!
